On the blog today I am super excited to share with you images from one of our lovely June couples, Sarah & Leighton who got married at the stunning Lympne Castle. We have been lucky enough to flower Lympme Castle not once but twice this year! I met Sarah at the Bluewater Wedding Fair where we were exhibiting in the Vintage Village & she has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Sarah and Leighton’s designs were centralised around their favours. Cute miniature buckets in pastel shades of lilac, pink, pale blue and ivory each one planted with a different herb grown from seed by the bride & groom themselves. One bucket of herbs for each guest to take away with them, great idea don’t you think?  To tie in with the favours the flowers were made up of a pastel combination in soft romantic tones of pinks, lilacs, powder blues & whites and creams.

Sarah’s bridal bouquet was made up of peonies, roses, lisianthus, nigella, lavender and rosemary with hints of eucalyptus and scenecio foliage.

The bridesmaid bouquets were similar to Sarah’s bridal bouquet but with more hints of the pinks and lilacs.

The bridesmaids looking gorgeous in their Alfred Angelo Beyond the Sea dresses. Sarah looked stunning in her Maude wedding dress by Maggie Sottero  and how cute  do the flower girls look in their dresses!

Sarah & Leighton married in the great hall of Lympne Castle, to tie in with their favours we lined the aisle with ivory buckets (the same ones used for the favours but larger) filled with pretty hydrangea’s.

The mantle piece was made pretty with an assortment of vintage bottles and vessels filled with roses, stocks, delphiniums, lavender, scabious & lisianthus placed all the way along the mantle piece with single stem flowers hanging in test tubes at either end.

Sarah & Leighton’s wedding breakfast was held in the marquee, which looked super pretty…

For the table centres we sourced cute ivory jugs & filled with blooms in their colour scheme of pinks, lilacs, blues and white which were placed on our tree slices. Each table was named after a professor.

The centre pieces were made up of roses, lisianthus, delphinium, nigella, stocks and ammi.
